Great little upgrade.

A trusted (very experienced) friend has these on multiple bikes and I was always curious. I helped him out on a project and he bought me a set as a thank you gift.

I mounted them (easy) and have been riding them for ~150 miles. I ride the same bike (full-rigid steel Surly ICT) on the road to technical New England rock face (with everything you can imagine in between).

I have found them very helpful to give me an added option for finger/hand placement. This helps me avoid both boredom and arm-pump on longer rides (for me that's 20-30 miles).

I love these things, and will buy them fir my other bikes.

You need to be carefully not to strip out the hardware, and (even at proper torque) they will move if pulled or crashed. I kind of like that bit.

They're of a great quality, have an Allen wrench (and cool sticker) included, and made in the USA.

I highly recommend these.

So far so good. Installation was a breeze. Really liking the support from the added hand positions. Found my self using them on climbs but also long seated pedaling sections.
